Highlights   15 Days

1st Day: Newark - Kosice
Your tour begins this evening aboard Czech Airline's wide-body non-stop flight to Prague and connecting flight to Kosice.

2nd Day: Kosice - Uzhorod
Upon arrival, transfer by motorcoach to Uzhorod. After check-in at the Zakarpattia Hotel, the balance of the day is free. A special welcome dinner party hosted by our guide this evening. LD

3rd - 8th Day: Uzhorod
The next six days provide us with a rare insight to the lifestyles of this ancient Slavic region. Transcarpathia ranks among the most scenic areas of the Ukraine. The green mountains, alpine valleys (popularly known as "Poloninas"), gardens and vineyards nurture unforgettable memories. Our tour of the city of Uzhorod will visit the Medieval Castle, the museum of Folk Architecture and the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. Our guide will escort us on a scenic drive through the Transcarpathian countryside. Visit the ruins of Nevitsky Castle in the village of Nevitskoye, continuing to the small town of Perechin, through the Olenevsky pass to Svalyava. Passing through the Beregvar forest reserve to Mukachevo, the second largest Transcarpathian city. On the way back to Uzhorod we pass through the village of Seredneye. Farewell dinner on our last evening. BD

9th - 11th Day: Kosice
Morning departure by motorcoach to Kosice. Check-in to the Slovan Hotel and the afternoon is free for you to explore the city. Our visit to Slovakia will include the city sights of Kosice with excursions to Presov, Bardejov, Litmanova and the Zvir Mountain, Vysoke Tatry. BD

12th - 14th Day: Prague
Afternoon transfer to the Kosice airport for your flight to Prague. Transfer to your hotel. Sightseeing of the city will include visits to Hradcany (Prague Castle), Lesser Town and the famous 14th century Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and the Jewish Quarter. Including an excursion to Cesky Sternberk or Konopiste. Farewell dinner on our last evening. BD

15th Day: Prague - Newark
Morning at leisure, transfer to the airport for your flight to Newark. B
